The Good Life Eatery really is a case of “the early bird catches the worm” because there’s not an empty seat in sight from the second it opens its doors – hardly surprising seeing as the paleo chestnut and almond waffles with coconut yogurt and smashed bananas are out of this world. From breakfasts bursting with goodness, like egg-white frittatas and açai bowls, to all-day dining options including an array of superfood salads, warm bowls, wraps, zucchini fettuccini, and sandwiches, you definitely won’t leave here with an unsatisfied palate.

Whether you follow a diet that is vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, or gluten free, there’s something for everyone. Be sure to stock up on the homemade peanut-butter cups and chocolate brownies – they’re the perfect pick-me-up for when you need something sweet. A word of warning to serial snappers: there’s no WiFi at The Good Life, but trust us when we say that you’ll be too focused on devouring your food to miss social media.

Only using ingredients sourced from organic, local farms, Farmacy is fast becoming one of the hottest healthy spots in town. Created by Camilla Fayed, who sought to literally bring something new to the table, it serves a spread of flavorful vegetarian and vegan options without any added sugar, dairy, or chemicals – all created by a Michelin-trained chef. Farmacy is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so you could easily spend all day making your way through the menu.

For breakfast, start with a ‘Bee Grateful’ parfait made with spirulina “yogurt”, chia-seed porridge, fresh fruit, and crunchy almonds or a classic eggs Florentine on a vegan muffin. You can then work your way through the mains, which vary from macro bowls and clean curries to spelt pasta and sourdough pizzas. There’s also a whole host of cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and health “shots”. Be sure to finish with the ‘Nice Cream Brownie Sundae’ that is served with fruit, raw cacao, and maca caramel. Using simple ingredients in a creative way, the menu at The Mae Deli focuses on plant-based dishes free of wheat, dairy, and refined sugar – and certainly lives up to high expectations. Breakfast bowls of perfect porridge or chia pudding can be suped up with toppings like almond butter, berry compotes, maple syrup, and toasted seeds, while the ‘Mae PB&J’ (served on rye or gluten-free toast, of course) is as comforting as it is delicious. Cold salads, such as the Asian-style broccoli and bok choy, can be boosted with organic marinated chicken or lemon-roasted salmon. Tuck into a slice of the carrot cake, washed down with a ‘Cinnamon Matcha Latte’, and you’re good to go.

The perfect pit stop to grab lunch on the run, The Detox Kitchen is a healthy haven for anyone seeking an alternative to a lifeless salad or stodgy sandwich. With each dish designed to look after you from the inside out, there’s nothing here that will leave you feeling bloated and sluggish. Needless to say, there’s no refined sugar, dairy, or wheat in anything. Avocado toast lovers, you need to try the smashed avo with mint and coriander on rye bread or branch out and order the cashew-nut butter with blueberries. You won’t regret it. From the beetroot and carrot fritters with lemon yogurt to the salmon burger and amazing mix of salads, the offerings will have you seeking endless excuses to return for more.

Created by celebrity trainer James Duigan, the man behind the bodies of Elle Macpherson and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (bet that got your attention), the Clean and Lean Café is exactly as its name suggests – a place to tuck into clean eats that won’t mess up your bikini-body mission. Sourcing the highest-quality ingredients, which are organic and seasonal whenever possible, the eatery doesn’t serve anything that is processed or that contains gluten or added sugar.

Sip on a super smoothie loaded with berries, chia seeds, protein powder, and coconut water or tuck into one of the amazing açai bowls – they’re enhanced with everything from almond butter and raw honey to toasted coconut and hemp seeds. Seasonal salads and iceberg-lettuce wraps stuffed with raw veggies, herbs, organic chicken, or smashed avocado make for the perfect light lunch.
